A Lot of Love, A Little Thyme (and Time)

From KISS

Today is my sissy's birthday! We have a very nice and festive dinner party for her last night. The recipes and dishes for the occasion will be posted, hopefully, soon! Since today is her birthday and she is visiting H-town, we will be hitting the museums and stores. Hopefully, we will run into some good eats!

Well, I have had so many things going on this week, in and out of the kitchen. One special project I worked on, near and dear to my heart, was writing down tips for an affordable Valentine's Day spread. I absolutely love to entertain and give away goodies to those special people in my life. However, in the past when money was very scarce, I learned quickly to be very resourceful and generous at the same time. These are lessons that have never left me, so when Sophia Ancer of Key Ingredient presented me with this opportunity to share my tips, I was more than eager and happy to do so!

Thank you, Sophia, for being interested in my novice work. Thanks for presenting me with another channel to help people out and share my passion for food. I would also like to thank my hubby, who spent hours incorporating my pictures into my page and sending them off to meet my deadline, and did so while confined in his Nigerian quarters, very late in the night, on a VERY slow internet connection, while I prepared for my dinner party. I love you more than words could ever express, cliche, but true.

Here is the link to my Valentine's Day affordable spread tips.

See you all very soon with new recipes. Have a great weekend!
