TWD: World Peace Cookies

I have been wanting to try these cookies for a long time! They were very easy to make and were just the right cute, dainty size. I used peanut butter and chocolate chips for my cookies and sprinkled them with turbinado sugar. For me, world peace can not happen without empathy, commonality, compassion, and peanut butter with chocolate!

Well, I thought this cookie's flavor had a nice crisp, cocoa taste. It is a perfect cookie to dip in coffee or milk. I think it would also be great crumbled on ice cream!

This cookie is for my hubby who is in Nigeria,
This is my cookie. I am in Texas.

These cookies were pretty good, not the World's Greatest in my humble opinion, but very good.  I did taste the undertone of salt in them. Not bad at all.  Now, everyone knows you have to share and care to promote peace! I do not know if I am willing to share that many of my cookies!

Thanks, Jessica of CookBookHabit for selecting this easy but interesting recipe! Don't forget to check out all the other word peace baking ambassadors' creations. Thanks, Dragana of Prijatno! for letting me borrow your Fleur de Sel. You are the best neighor in the world! Thanks to my hubby for letting my confiscate his world map from his bachelor days on which he marked in the red the places he has been. It was a neat background.  I love you, baby!

Next up,  Floating Islands!

LOVE the addition of the peanut butter chips. Because the only thing that would promote world peace better than these cookies, are these cookies with peanut butter in them somehow!

I wonder how long it would take to mail a cookie from TX to Nigeria?

The peanut butter and chocolate combo is always a favorite of mine. Sounds delicious!

PB and chocolate is one of my favorite combos...I could eat peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon, and of course chocolate is the greatest thing ever created :)

Ooohhh PB chips! Can't go wrong with PB+chocolate. I bet my husband would adore that combo. He's kind of a PB freak. haha. BTW I use HTML to align my pictures on my blog but I host my pictures on photobucket instead of uploading directly to WP. I think you should be able to do it with blogger too. Email me if you want more details, k?
