Post #101: EVERYTHING tasted better with cheese!

From Cheese stuffed Pizza Crust

Every time I look at this picture, I get so hungry!  My oldest son loves sutffed crust pizza. Well, since discovering how easy pizza was to make, especially when using my new, awesome food processor, we have not had stuffed crust pizza in a long time, so he asked me with those adorable big browns of his, if I could make him one for pizza night since we do not buy pizza anymore.  How could I say no?

So, I asked my daughter's boyfriend, who works at Pizza Hut, if he knew the best way to make a stuffed crust pizza. I knew he would know since he works for the mega stuffed crust pizza makers themselves. The secret, which we had suspected all along, was to use store bought cheese sticks and fold over with the crust edges of the pizza dough.

I used the Pizza dough recipe from my past blog, but I am sure you can use a 14" store bought pizza crust easily!  However, you can find the homemade recipe here.

Whatever dough you choose to use DO NOT prebake it! Just roll it out to 14 ", because once you fold the crust over the cheesesticks, the pizza will be about 9", so a smaller diameter crust will make a smaller stuffed crust pizza.  Once the cheese sticks are rolled into the dough (you may need to cut cheese sticks into smaller pieces to fit into the dough just right), then top your pizza with all the fixin's you want.
Bake for about 23 minutes, or until crust is nice and golden brown. Then, remove pizza from oven and allow it to set for a few minute before devouring!

So easy and so "cheese"y!

For an extra addition to the crust, roll some sliced pepperoni around the cheese sticks, then fold crust over!

Stuffed Crust Pizza is definitely not healthy, but it is a nice treat from time to time.

Don't forget to comment on my Post 100 if you would like to be in a drawing for some cute little prizes from William Sonoma! The deadline is Sunday. I will draw and post the winner on Monday!

This looks delicious! I make pizza at home all the time, but never thought to stuff the crust. I am definitely going to try it.

We make our own pizza dough, but have never made a stuffed crust. More cheese is never a bad thing. I'm going to try it the next time we make pizza.

Oddly enough, I have some kids I am actually trying to put weight on! This might do the trick.

I absolutely can NOT believe you are old enough to have a daughter with a boyfriend. You look like you are 21. I am not even kidding. WHAT IN THE WORLD!

This looks delectable!
