We are here all nice and settled into our digs for the next week. We are 2 hours behind Texas time, so it is taking us some getting use to when calling the peeps back home! So far, I am in awe of Arizona. This is my second vacation here. The first one I took with my grandparents when I was in high school. I remember it being pretty special then. This time I am all married up with kids and it is just as special still. I will try to blog about food soon, especially since I have a really nice kitchen here, fully stocked!. I have finally tried prickly pear! I will post those pictures tomorrow. Since my hubby and I are counting calories again and I do not like wasting money on fast food, I will be cooking our meals here in our abode.
