Sunday Morning Special

From McEggrolls

I love to make breakfasts on the weekends. I can take my time getting the meal together, so by the time I am through, a buffet is usually in sight.

Today, I came up with this nifty idea after I had cooked up some home fries, bacon, and eggs. I  decided to make McEggrolls. It was really easy. I just took my eggroll wrap, filled it with my breakfasts sides,  rolled her up as directed on the package, and fried her up.  It took about two minutes with well preheated oil (I used corn) in my cast iron skillet! The rolls were nice and crispy, with those little fried bubbles outside the wrap that we all love. I served mine with a side of ketchup and salsa.
It is even easier if you make your rolls after the fries, because then you can use the same oil.

What is even greater about this, is that you could cook many up ahead of time, freeze them, and use them for on-the-go breakfasts!  Pretty neat. You can even play around with it. I want to try sausage and hasbrowns next! You know, health food.

Now. I do not think the "Golden Arches" have anything to worry about, but I just wanted to share it with you all.  Happy Sunday!

Looks delicious. Thanks for dropping by my blog. For the cookie cutter muffins, I used normal-sized cookie cutters, but you could use any size. Just don't overfill them. Good luck! :)
